Obama's 32 Month Report Card

I got this in an email tonight, and thought it worth passing on. I was a little taken aback by the stats, but after I thought about it, I realized that it was true. I remember hearing and reading about all the "percentages", and the "firsts" listed, just not at one time. Thankfully Mr. Carroll kept track and put them down in one spot, so to say. It's when they're all read at one time that one see's how bad things have gotten under Obama. I hope there is a change in the White House come the next election.

Mr. Hope and Change wants to create a nation humbled; humiliated, casting-aside capitalism and individual freedoms for one where we the people are government controlled. This would be a system that genuflects mediocrity, steals personal aspiration and opportunity, and punishes those who strive to succeed.

A gallon of regular gasoline the day Obama was inaugurated was $1.79 on average in the U.S. Today that price is $3.59, a 100.6% increase. The number of food stamp recipients has risen since Obama took office from 31,983,716 to 43,200,878, a 35.1% jump. Long term unemployment soared 146.2% during the same 32 month period from 2,600,000 to 6,400,000. Staggering hope and change isn't it?

American citizens living in poverty have risen 9.5% from 39,800,000 to 43,600,000, and the number of unemployed has jumped almost 25% from 11,616,000 to 14,485,000 as of August 31, 2011. The number of unemployed blacks has risen from 12.6% at the end of George Bush's term to 15.8% today, a 25.4% increase, and finally, our national debt is up 34.4% from 10.627 trillion to 14,278 trillion *

Keep these figures in mind as we recount the number of firsts for this presidency:

First President to refuse to show a valid birth certificate.

First President to apply for college aid as a foreign student, then deny he was a foreigner.

First President to have a social security number from a state he has never lived in.

First President to preside over a cut to the credit rating of the United States .

First President to violate the War Powers Act.

First President to be held in contempt of court for illegally obstructing oil drilling in the Gulf of Mexico .

First President to defy a Federal Judges court order to cease implementing the Health Care Reform Law.

First President to require all Americans to purchase a product from a third party.

First President to spend a trillion dollars on shovel-ready jobs and later admit there was no such thing as shovel-ready jobs.

First President to abrogate bankruptcy law to turn over control of companies to his union supporters.

First President to by-pass Congress and implement the Dream Act through executive fiat.

First President to order a secret amnesty program that stopped the deportation of illegal immigrants across the U.S. , including those with criminal convictions.

First President to demand a company hand-over $20 billion to one of his political appointees.

First President to terminate Americas ability to put a man in space.

First President to encourage racial discrimination and intimidation at polling places.

First President to have a law signed by an auto-pen without being present.

First President to arbitrarily declare an existing law unconstitutional and refuse to enforce it.

First President to threaten insurance companies if they publicly speak-out on the reasons for their rate increases.

First President to tell a major manufacturing company in which state they are allowed to locate a factory.

First President to file lawsuits against the states he swore an oath to protect (AZ, WI, OH, IN)

First President to withdraw an existing coal permit that had been properly issued years ago.

First President to fire an inspector general of Ameri-corps for catching one of his friends in a corruption case.

First President to appoint 45 Czars to replace elected officials in his office.

First President to golf 73 separate times in his first two and a half years in office.

First President to hide his medical, educational and travel records.

First President to win a Nobel Peace Prize for doing NOTHING to earn it.

First President to coddle American enemies while alienating Americas allies.

First President to publicly bow to Americas enemies while refusing to salute the U.S. Flag.

First President to go on multiple global apology tours.

First President to go on 17 lavish vacations, including date nights and Wednesday evening White House parties for his friends, paid for by the taxpayer.

First President to refuse to wear the U.S. Flag lapel pin.

First President to have 22 personal servants (taxpayer funded) for his wife.

First President to keep a dog trainer on retainer for $102,000.00 a year at taxpayer expense.

First President to repeat the Holy Qur'an tells us, and openly admit the early morning call of the Azan (Islamic call to worship) is the most beautiful sound on earth.

Remember that 32 months of Obama White House we the people have accumulated national debt at a rate more than 27 times as fast as during the rest of our nation's entire history, as the Obama's plan their next extravagant vacation to the Indonesian Island nation of Bali .

The following is from someone at the Washington Post. I remember when Obama said these things. I tried telling my friends about this, but the liberals denied this and keep worshiping Obama, like a bunch of lemmings.

Yes, he told us in advance what he planned to do. Few were listening.

The following is a narrative taken from a 2008 Sunday morning televised "Meet The Press."

From Sunday's 07 Sept. 2008, 11:48:04 EST, Televised "Meet the Press" THE THEN Senator Obama was asked about his stance on the American Flag.

General Bill Ginn, USAF (ret.), asked Obama to explain WHY he doesn't follow protocol when the National Anthem is played.

The General stated to Obama that according to the United States Code, Title 36, Chapter 10, Sec. 171...

During rendition of the national anthem, when the flag is displayed, all present (except those in uniform) are expected to stand at attention, facing the flag, with the right hand over the heart. Or, at the very least, "Stand and Face It".

NOW GET THIS !!

'Senator'Obama replied:

"As I've said about the flag pin, I don't want to be perceived as taking sides...." "There are a lot of people in the world to whom the American flag is a symbol of oppression...." "The anthem itself conveys a war-like message. You know, the bombs bursting in air, and all that sort of thing."

(ARE YOU READY FOR THIS???)

Obama continued:, "The National Anthem should be 'swapped' for something less parochial and less bellicose. I like the song 'I'd Like To Teach the World To Sing.' If that were our anthem, then I might salute it. In my opinion, we should consider reinventing our National Anthem as well as 'redesign' our Flag to better offer our enemies hope and love. It's my intention, if elected, to disarm America to the level of acceptance to our Middle East Brethren. If we, as a Nation of waring people, conduct ourselves like the nations of Islam, where peace prevails - - - perhaps a state or period of mutual accord could exist between our governments ....."

"When I become President, I will seek a pact of agreement to end hostilities between those who have been at war or in a state of enmity, and a freedom from disquieting oppressive thoughts . We as a Nation, have placed upon the nations of Islam, an unfair injustice, which is WHY my wife disrespects the Flag, and she and I have attended several flag burning ceremonies in the past."

"Of course now, I have found myself about to become the President of the United States and I have put my hatred aside. I will use my power to bring CHANGE to this Nation, and offer the people a new path. My wife and I look forward to becoming our Country's First black Family. Indeed, CHANGE is about to overwhelm the United States of America."

In 1887 Alexander Tyler, a Scottish history professor at the University of Edinborough , had this to say about the fall of the Athenian Republic some 2,000 years prior:
"A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up
until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse over loose fiscal policy, (which is) always followed by a dictatorship."

Professor Joseph Olson of Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul , Minnesota , points out some interesting facts concerning the last
Presidential election:
Number of States won by:          Obama: 19          McCain: 29
Square miles of land won by:      Obama: 580,000    McCain: 2,427,000
Population of counties won by:    Obama: 127 million McCain: 143 million
Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by: Obama: 13.2
McCain: 2.1

Professor Olson adds: "In aggregate, the map of the territory McCain won was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of the country.
Obama territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in low income tenements and living off various forms of government welfare..."

Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the
"complacency and apathy" phase of Professor Tyler's definition of democracy, with some forty percent of the nation's population already having reached the "governmental dependency" phase.

If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million criminal
invaders called illegal's - and they vote - then we can say goodbye to the USA in fewer than five years.

This is truly scary! Of course we are not a democracy, we are a Constitutional Republic . Someone should point this out to Obama.
Of course we know he and too many others pay little attention to The Constitution. There couldn't be more at stake than on Nov 2012.

The cop was happy and left the shop. The next morning when the barber went to open up, there was a 'thank you' card and a dozen donuts waiting for him at his door.

Then a Congressman came in for a haircut, and when he went to pay his bill, the barber again replied, 'I cannot accept money from you. I'm doing community service this week.'

The Congressman was very happy and left the shop. The next morning, when the barber went to open up, there were a dozen Congressmen lined up waiting for a free haircut.

And that, my friends, illustrates the fundamental difference between the citizens of our country and the politicians who run it.

The Plight of Poor Sharon Jackson

This is TRUE!!! And she is upset that she has to 'make do' ....

Sharon in her Section 8 home!

Sharon Jasper has spent 57 of her 58 years dedicated to one cause and one cause only, and has nothing to show for her dedicated servitude ....
She has lived in Section 8 housing all but 1 of her 58 years. It was a legacy passed down from her parents who moved into Section 8 housing in 1949 when she was six months old. She has passed the legacy down to her children, but fears they may have to get jobs to pay for the utilities and deposits.

She laments about her one year hiatus from the comfort of her Section 8 nirvana, 'I tried it for a year -- you know, working and all. It's not anything I would want to go through again, or wish on anyone in my family, but I am damn proud of that year.'

Sharon was moved out of her St. Bernard housing project after hurricane Katrina and into a new, yet albeit, substandard quarterage. As can be noted from the above photo of her new Section 8 home, it is repugnant and not suitable for someone of Sharon Jasper's seniority status in the system. 'Don't be fooled by them hardwood floors,' says Sharon.

'They told me they were putting in scraped wood floors cause it was more expensive and elegant, but I am not a fool -- that was just a way to make me take scratched up wood because I am black. The 60 inch HD TV? It may look nice but it is not plasma ... It's not a plasma because I'm black. Now they want me to pay a deposit and utilities on this dump. 'Do you know why?'

She has held her tongue in silence through the years of abuse by the system, but it came to a head at the New Orlean's city council meeting where discussions were under way about the tearing down of the St. Bernard projects. When a near riotous exchange between groups opposing the tearing down of St. Bernard and groups wanting the dilapidated buildings torn down and newer ones built, Sharon unleashed verbal hell with her once silenced tongue. The object of her oratory prowess was an acquiescent poor white boy in attendance. The context of her scathing rebuke was, 'Just because you pay for my house, my car, my big screen and my food, Medical needs. I will not be treated like a slave!' and 'Back up and Shut up! white boy Shut up, white boy!

Recapping from the log of the city council minutes; Sharon repines, 'Our families have been displaced all over the United States. They are being forced to commit crimes in cities they are unfamiliar with. It is a very uncomfortable situation for them. Bring them back, then let's talk about redevelopment.'

Sharon directs the reporter's attention across the street to Duncan Plaza where homeless people are living in tents and states that, 'I might do better out there with one of these tents.' She further lamented her sentiments about her situation, 'I might be poor, but I don't have to live poor.'
Any wonder why this country is in the shape it is? Maybe we should all just chip in and get her the plasma TV she so richly deserves!

An interesting letter in the Australian Shooter Magazine this week:

"If you consider that there has been an average of 160,000 troops in the Iraq Theater of operations during the past 22 months, and a total of 2112 deaths, that gives a firearm death rate of 60 per 100,000 soldiers.
The firearm death rate in Washington, DC is 80.6 per 100,000 for the same period.
That means you are about 25 per cent more likely to be shot and killed in the US capital which has some of the strictest gun control laws in the U.S., than you are in Iraq.

Conclusion: The U.S. should pull out of Washington.

The White House Bed

Another e-mail goody!

One night, Obama is tossing restlessly in his White House bed. He awakens to see George Washington standing by him. Barak asks him, "George, what's the best thing I can do to help the country?"

"Set an honest and honorable example, just as I did," Washington advises, then fades away.

The next night, Obama is astir again, and sees the ghost of Thomas Jefferson moving through the darkened bedroom.Obama calls out, "Tom, please! What is the best thing I could do to help the country?"

"Respect the Constitution, like I did," Jefferson advises, and dims from sight.

Barak still isn't sleeping well the third night when he sees yet another figure moving in the shadows. It is Abraham Lincoln's ghost. "Abe, what is the best thing I can do right now, to help the country?" Obama pleads.

Abe replies, "Go see a play."

Does Dallas, TX have a good idea or what???

Uninsured Cars Off The Road

Recently, the City of Dallas , Texas , passed an ordinance stating that if a driver is pulled over by law enforcement and is not able to provide proof of insurance, the car is towed.

To retrieve the car after being impounded, they must show proof of insurance to have the car released. This has made it easy for the City of Dallas to remove uninsured cars.

Shortly after the "No Insurance" ordinance was passed, the Dallas impound lots began to fill up and were full after only nine days. 80 + % of the impounded cars were driven by illegals.

Not only must they provide proof of insurance to have their car released, they have to pay for the cost of the tow, a $350 fine, and $20 for every day their car is kept in the lot.

Accident rates are going down and... Dallas' solution gets uninsured drivers off the road WITHOUT making them show proof of nationality.

Wonder how the ACLU or the Justice Department will get around this one.

Just brings tears to my eyes.

He has been a journalist for 49 years. He is retiring and this is HIS LAST COLUMN.

This is about as clear and easy to understand as it can be. The article below is completely neutral, neither anti-republican or democrat. Charlie Reese, a retired reporter for the Orlando Sentinel, has hit the nail directly on the head, defining clearly who it is that in the final analysis must assume responsibility for the judgments made that impact each one of us every day. It's a short but good read. Worth the time. Worth remembering!

545 vs. 300,000,000 People

Politicians are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them.
Have you ever wondered, if both the Democrats and the Republicans are against deficits, WHY do we have deficits?
Have you ever wondered, if all the politicians are against inflation and high taxes, WHY do we have inflation and high taxes?
You and I don't propose a federal budget. The President does.
You and I don't have the Constitutional authority to vote on appropriations. The House of Representatives does.
You and I don't write the tax code, Congress does.
You and I don't set fiscal policy, Congress does.
You and I don't control monetary policy, the Federal Reserve Bank does.

One hundred senators, 435 congressmen, one President, and nine Supreme Court justices equates to 545 human beings out of the 300 million are directly, legally, morally, and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague this country.
I excluded the members of the Federal Reserve Board because that problem was created by the Congress. In 1913, Congress delegated its Constitutional duty to provide a sound currency to a federally chartered, but private, central bank.
I excluded all the special interests and lobbyists for a sound reason. They have no legal authority. They have no ability to coerce a senator, a congressman, or a President to do one cotton-picking thing. I don't care if they offer a politician $1 million dollars in cash. The politician has the power to accept or reject it. No matter what the lobbyist promises, it is the legislator's responsibility to determine how he votes.

Those 545 human beings spend much of their energy convincing you that what they did is not their fault. They cooperate in this common con regardless of party.

What separates a politician from a normal human being is an excessive amount of gall. No normal human being would have the gall of a Speaker, who stood up and criticized the President for creating deficits. The President can only propose a budget. He cannot force the Congress to accept it.

The Constitution, which is the supreme law of the land, gives sole responsibility to the House of Representatives for originating and approving appropriations and taxes. Who is the speaker of the House? John Boehner. He is the leader of the majority party. He and fellow House members, not the President, can approve any budget they want. If the President vetoes it, they can pass it over his veto if they agree to.

It seems inconceivable to me that a nation of 300 million cannot replace 545 people who stand convicted -- by present facts -- of incompetence and irresponsibility. I can't think of a single domestic problem that is not traceable directly to those 545 people. When you fully grasp the plain truth that 545 people exercise the power of the federal government, then it must follow that what exists is what they want to exist.

If the tax code is unfair, it's because they want it unfair.
If the budget is in the red, it's because they want it in the red.
If the Army & Marines are in Iraq and Afghanistan it's because they want them in Iraq and Afghanistan ...
If they do not receive social security but are on an elite retirement plan not available to the people, it's because they want it that way.

There are no insoluble government problems.
Do not let these 545 people shift the blame to bureaucrats, whom they hire and whose jobs they can abolish; to lobbyists, whose gifts and advice they can reject; to regulators, to whom they give the power to regulate and from whom they can take this power. Above all, do not let them con you into the belief that there exists disembodied mystical forces like "the economy," inflation," or "politics" that prevent them from doing what they take an oath to do.

Those 545 people, and they alone, are responsible.
They, and they alone, have the power.
They, and they alone, should be held accountable by the people who are their bosses.
Provided the voters have the gumption to manage their own employees.
We should vote all of them out of office and clean up their mess!

First Lady Thanks America

The following is a thank you note from our wonderful first lady. I heard that she was going to include it in her next public speech, if it was widely covered by the media. It's so nice that we have a first lady that cares so much for us ordinary people.

Her note is as follows:

Dear American Taxpayer
For only the second time in my adult life, I am not ashamed of my country. I want to thank the hard working American people for paying $242 thousand dollars for my vacation in Spain .

My daughter Sasha, several long-time family friends, my personal staff and various guests had a wonderful time. Honestly, you just haven't lived until you have stayed in a $2,500.00 per night private 3-story villa at a 5-Star luxury hotel.

Thank you also for the use of Air Force Two and the 70 Secret Service personnel who tagged along to be sure we were safe and cared for at all times. By the way, if you happen to be visiting the Costa del Sol, I highly recommend the Buenaventura Plaza restaurant in Marbella; great lobster with rice and oysters! I'm ashamed to admit the lobsters we ate in Martha's Vineyard were not quite as tasty, but what can you do if you're not in Europe , you have to just grin and bear it?

Air Force Two (which costs $11,351 per hour to operate according to Government Accounting Office reports) only used 47,500 gallons of jet fuel for this trip and carbon emissions were a mere 1,031 tons of CO2. These are only rough estimates, but they are close. That's quite a carbon footprint as my good friend Al Gore would say, so we must ask the American citizens to drive smaller, more fuel efficient cars and drive less too, so we can lessen our combined carbon footprint.

I know times are hard and millions of you are struggling to put food on the table and trying to make ends meet. So I do appreciate your sacrifices and do hope you find work soon.

I was really exhausted after Barack took our family on a luxury vacation in Maine a few weeks ago. I just had to get away for a few days.

Interesting: Missouri's approach to the problem of illegal immigration appears to be more advanced, sophisticated, strict and effective than anything to date in Arizona. Do the loonies in San Francisco, or the White House, appreciate what Missouri has done? When are our fearless President and his dynamic Attorney General going to take action to require Missouri start accepting illegal immigrants once again?
So, why doesn't Missouri receive attention?
Answer: There are no Mexican illegals in Missouri to demonstrate.
The "Show Me" state has once again showed us how it should be done.
There needs to be more publicity and exposure regarding what Missouri has done.
Let's pass it around.
In 2007, Missouri placed on the ballot a proposed constitutional amendment designating English as the official language of Missouri. In November, 2008, nearly 90% voted in favor! Thus, English became the official language for ALL governmental activity in Missouri. No individual has the right to demand government services in a language OTHER than English.
In 2008, a measure was passed that required the Missouri Highway Patrol and other law enforcement officials to verify the immigration status of any person arrested, and inform federal authorities if the person is found to be in Missouri illegally. Missouri law enforcement offices receive specific training with respect to enforcement of federal immigration laws.
In Missouri, illegal immigrants do NOT have access to taxpayers benefits such as food stamps and health care through Missouri HealthNET. In 2009, a measure was passed that ensures Missouri's public institutions of higher education do NOT award financial aid to individuals who are illegally in the United States.
In Missouri, all post-secondary institutions of higher education to annually certify to the Missouri Dept. of Higher Education that they have NOT knowingly awarded financial aid to students who are unlawfully present in the United States.
So while Arizona has made national news for its new law, it is important to remember Missouri has been far more proactive in addressing this horrific problem.
Missouri has made it clear that illegal immigrants are NOT welcome in the state and they will certainly NOT receive public benefits at the expense of Missouri taxpayers!

Older woman: Is there a problem sir?

Officer 2: One of my officers told me that you have stolen this car and murdered the owner.

The woman opens the trunk, revealing nothing but an empty trunk.

Older Woman: Yes, here are the registration papers. The officer is quite stunned.

The woman digs into her handbag and pulls out a clutch purse and hands it to the officer. The officer examines the license. He looks quite puzzled.

Well, I haven't been able to post anything for a while, and I'm still pressed for time, so I thought I'd write a few lines about my Aunt Francie's adventures with Activia.

We've all seen the commercials with Jamie Lee Curtis promoting Activia. It's a yogurt that's supposed to help regulate your digestive system. In other words, it helps make sure you have a bowel movement every day. It helps get rid of constipation so you can go to the can, take a dump, pinch a loaf, burn a mule, sit on the porcelain throne, do caca, take a shit, crap your brains out; you get the idea. Guess what......it works!

I've got an Aunt out east that thought she'd try it. This woman is loud, obnoxious, always right about everything, always yelling and cussing at everybody about everything, and not very bright for a woman that's supposed to be educated. She's also a retired nurse. Remember that.

Aunt Francie was having trouble with constipation, so she thought she's try some Activia. She went to the store, got some, and brought some home. She tried one, and loved it. It was the best tasting yogurt she ever had. It was so good, that she thought she'd try another flavor. That too was great. She still had a little room left in her stomach, so she thought she'd try another flavor. She had her third Activia, and it was fantastic! Unfortunately, she was full, and would have to wait until another time to try another flavor.

The next morning she woke up early to rumbling in her gut. She had a feeling that her constipation was over and she better get up. Well, she had just stood up out of bed when all hell broke loose! I can just picture her pushing her walker through the house, leaving a trail behind her, all the time hollering and cussing Jamie Lee Curtis and Activia!"Oooooh! That damn Activia!!! Oooooh!!!! That damn woman has me shitting all over the house!!!!! What the hell are they trying to do!!!! Ooooooh!!!"

I still laugh every time I think about Activia. Heh heh heh. Old Aunt Francie shitting all over the house! Heh heh heh!

Many of us witnessed the arrogance of Barbara Boxer on June 18,
2009 as she admonished Brigadier General Michael Walsh because he addressed her as "ma'am" and not "Senator" before a Senate hearing.



This letter is from a National Guard aviator and Captain

You were so right on when you scolded the general on TV for using
the term, "ma'am," instead of "Senator". After all, in the military, "ma'am" is a term of respect when addressing a female of superior rank or position. The general was totally wrong. You are not a person of superior rank or position. You are a member of one of the world's most corrupt organizations, the U.S. Senate, equaled only by the   U.S. House of Representatives.





Congress is a cesspool of liars, thieves, inside traders,
traitors, drunks (one who killed a staffer, yet is still revered), criminals, and other low level swine who, as individuals (not all, but many), will do anything to enhance their lives, fortunes and power, all at the expense of the People of the United States and its Constitution, in order to be continually re-elected. I don't care who you are ... Democrat, Republican, or Independent ... liberal or conservative ... blue state or red state ... you have to be appalled at the sheer gall of this woman !

This is QUEEN PELOSI'S NEW JET!!!

And the Democrats talk about Sarah's dresses???

Queen Pelosi wasn't happy with the small USAF C-20B jet, Gulfstream III, that comes with the Speaker's job ... OH NO! Queen Pelosi was aggravated that this little jet had to stop to refuel, so she ordered a Big Fat, 200-seat, USAF C-32, Boeing 757 jet that could get her back to California without stopping! I understand that a former Speaker of the House, Newt Gingrich, flew commerical most of the time.

Many, many legislators walked by and grinned with glee as Joe informed everyone of what Queen Nancy's Big Fat Jet costs us, the hard working American tax payers, literally thousands of gallons of fuel every week.

Since she only works 3 days a week, this gas guzzling jet gets fueled and she flies home to California every Friday and returns every Monday, at a cost to the taxpayers (YOU and ME are those taxpayers!) of about $60,000, one way !!

As Joe put it ..."unfortunately we have to pay to bring her back on Monday night and that costs us another $60,000!" Taxpayers, that is $480,000 per month and that is an annual cost to us of $5,760,000 !!!

No wonder she complains about the cost of this war ... it might cramp her style and she is styling on my back and yours.. I think of the military families in this country doing without and this woman, who heads up the most do-nothing Congress in the history of our country, keeps fueling that jet while doing nothing.

Queen Pelosi wants you and me to conserve our carbon footprint. She wants us to buy smaller cars and Obama wants us to get a bicycle pump and air up our tires. Who do these people think they are???

Their motto is ... Don't do as I do .... JUST DO AS I SAY !!

If you think this is outrageous, let your friends know about it! Keep in mind the figures above do NOT include the cost of plane or crew ... just the fuel!!! One has to wonder what the total package costs us?

I got this in an e-mail recently. I had also gotten this same e-mail quite some time ago, and I don't recall ever seeing it on the web.

In light of recent events, I thought that it should be seen by as many people as possible. It might get some people stirred up, cause some discussion, and it might give us a clue as to what the future holds.

If this is a glimpse of what the future holds for us, I have a feeling that some really bad things will happen. I don't know if the public will put up with this sort of thing or not. Maybe we would for a short time, but I have a feeling that all hell would break loose if it went on too long. Maybe that's what is needed. Who knows?

I'm interested in hearing what the public thinks of this. Will this go on in the US? Will we see more of this in the world? Will it get worse before it gets better? What's next?

Paul Hollrah over at UTFSM got in the middle of the Obama birth issue, and believes the issue can be resolved by Obama answering one simple question:
What passport did he use when he was shuttling between New York , Jakarta ( Indonesia ), and Karachi ( Pakistan )?

So how did a young man who arrived in New York in early June 1981, without the price of a hotel room in his pocket, suddenly come up with the price of a round-the-world trip just a month later?
And once he was on a plane, shuttling between New York , Jakarta , and Karachi , what passport was he offering when he passed through Customs and Immigration?

The American people not only deserve to have answers to these questions, they must have answers. It makes the debate over Obama's citizenship a rather short and simple one.
Q: Did he travel to Pakistan in 1981, at age 20?
A : Yes, by his own admission..
Q: What passport did he travel under?
A: There are only three possibilities
1) He traveled with a U.S. Passport,
2) He traveled with a British passport, or
3) He traveled with an Indonesia passport.

Q: Is it possible that Obama traveled with a U.S. Passport in 1981?
A: No. It is not possible. Pakistan was on the U.S. State Department's "no travel" list in 1981.
Conclusion:
When Obama went to Pakistan in 1981 he was traveling either with a British passport or an Indonesian passport..

If he were traveling with a British passport that would provide proof he was born in Kenya on August 4, 1961, not in Hawaii as he claims.

And if he were traveling with an Indonesian passport that would tend to prove he relinquished whatever previous citizenship he held, British or American, prior to being adopted by his Indonesian step-father in 1967.

Whatever the truth of the matter, the American people need to know how he managed to become a "natural born" American citizen between 1981 and 2008..

Given the destructive nature of his plans for America, as illustrated by his speech before Congress and the disastrous spending plan he has presented to Congress, the sooner we learn the truth of all this, the better.

Once upon a time, we looked forward to being part of the senior demographic. The Socialist politics practiced by the Obama administration and empowered by AARP serves only to raise the blood pressure my medical insurance strives to contain. We mitigate that disappointment with the relief of knowing that we are not contributing to the problem anymore by renewing our membership. This Presidential Administration scares the living daylights out of us. Not just for ourselves, but for our proud and bloodstained heritage. But even more importantly for our children and grandchildren. Washington has rendered Soylent Green a prophetic cautionary tale rather than a nonfiction scare tactic. This is an actual letter sent to a man named Ryan DeVries regarding a pond on his property. It was sent by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Quality, State of Pennsylvania . This guy's response is hilarious, but read The State's letter before you get to the response letter.

SUBJECT: DEQ File No.97-59-0023; T11N; R10W, Sec. 20; Lycoming County

Dear Mr. DeVries:
It has come to the attention of the Department of Environmental Quality that there has been recent unauthorized activity on the above referenced parcel of property. You have been certified as the legal landowner and/or contractor who did the following unauthorized activity:
Construction and maintenance of two wood debris dams across the outlet stream of Spring Pond.

A permit must be issued prior to the start of this type of activity. A
review of the Department's files shows that no permits have been issued. Therefore, the Department has determined that this activity is in violation of Part 301, Inland Lakes and Streams, of the Natural Resource and Environmental Protection Act, Act 451 of the Public Acts of 1994, being sections 324.30101 to 324.30113 of the Pennsylvania Compiled Laws, annotated.

The Department has been informed that one or both of the dams partially failed during a recent rain event, causing debris and flooding at downstream locations. We find that dams of this nature are inherently hazardous and cannot be permitted. The Department therefore orders you to cease and desist all activities at this location and to restore the stream to a free-flow condition by removing all wood and brush forming the dams from the stream channel. All restoration work shall be completed no later than January 31, 2007..

Please notify this office when the restoration has been completed so that a follow-up site inspection may be scheduled by our staff. Failure to comply with this request or any further unauthorized activity on the site may result in this case being referred for elevated enforcement action..

Your certified letter dated 12/17/06 has been handed to me to respond to. I am the legal landowner but not the Contractor at 2088 Dagget Lane , Trout Run, Pennsylvania .

A couple of beavers are in the (State unauthorized) process of constructing and maintaining two wood 'debris' dams across the outlet stream of my Spring Pond. While I did not pay for, authorize, nor supervise their dam project, I think they would be highly offended that you call their skillful use of natures building materials 'debris.'

I would like to challenge your department to attempt to emulate their dam project any time and/or any place you choose. I believe I can safely state there is no way you could ever match their dam skills, their dam resourcefulness, their dam ingenuity, their dam persistence, their dam determination and/or their dam work ethic.

These are the beavers/contractors you are seeking. As to your request, I do not think the beavers are aware that they must first fill out a dam permit prior to the start of this type of dam activity.

My first dam question to you is:
(1) Are you trying to discriminate against my Spring Pond Beavers, or
(2) Do you require all beavers throughout this State to conform to said dam request?

If you are not discriminating against these particular beavers, through the Freedom of Information Act, I request completed copies of all those other applicable beaver dam permits that have been issued. (Perhaps we will see if there really is a dam violation of Part 301, Inland Lakes and Streams, of the Natural Resource and Environmental Protection Act, Act 451 of the Public Acts of 1994, being sections 324.30101 to 324.30113 of the Pennsylvania Compiled Laws, annotated.)

I have several concerns. My first concern is, aren't the beavers entitled to legal representation? The Spring Pond Beavers are financially destitute and are unable to pay for said representation - so the State will have to provide them with a dam lawyer. The Department's dam concern that either one or both of the dams failed during a recent rain event, causing flooding, is proof that this is a natural occurrence, which the Department is required to protect. In other words, we should leave the Spring Pond Beavers alone rather than harassing them and calling them dam names.

If you want the stream 'restored' to a dam free-flow condition please contact the beavers - but if you are going to arrest them, they obviously did not pay any attention to your dam letter, they being unable to read English.

In my humble opinion, the Spring Pond Beavers have a right to build their unauthorized dams as long as the sky is blue, the grass is green and water flows downstream. They have more dam rights than I do to live and enjoy Spring Pond. If the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection lives up to its name, it should protect the natural resources (Beavers) and the environment (Beavers' Dams).

So, as far as the beavers and I are concerned, this dam case can be referred for more elevated enforcement action right now. Why wait until 1/31/2007? The Spring Pond Beavers may be under the dam ice then and there will be no way for you or your dam staff to contact/harass them.

In conclusion, I would like to bring to your attention to a real environmental quality, health, problem in the area. It is the bears! Bears are actually defecating in our woods. I definitely believe you should be persecuting the defecating bears and leave the beavers alone. If you are going to investigate the beaver dam, watch your step!
The bears are not careful where they dump!

Terrorist Dry Run

I got this in an e-mail a few days ago. I thought it was interesting, and reminded me of something I heard on the local news a while back. It could be the same incident that I heard of, only it happened a few months ago. I'm not sure how old the e-mail is, so it could be the same thing.

The only other thing I could say is IT'S ABOUT DAMN TIME SOMEONE STOOD UP TO THEM!!!!!

One week ago, I went to Ohio on business and to see my father. On Tuesday, November the 17th, I returned home. If you read the papers the 18th you may have seen a blurb where a AirTran flight was cancelled from Atlanta to Houston due to a man who refused to get off of his cell phone before takeoff. It was on Fox.

This was NOT what happened.

I was in 1st class coming home. 11 Muslim men got on the plane in full attire. 2 sat in 1st class and the rest peppered themselves throughout the plane all the way to the back. As the plane taxied to the runway the stewardesses gave the safety spiel we are all so familiar with. At that time, one of the men got on his cell and called one of his companions in the back and proceeded to talk on the phone in Arabic very loudly and very aggressively. This took the 1st stewardess out of the picture for she repeatedly told the man that cell phones were not permitted at the time. He ignored her as if she was not there..

The 2nd man who answered the phone did the same and this took out the 2nd stewardess. In the back of the plane at this time, 2 younger Muslims, one in the back, isle, and one in front of him, window, began to show footage of a porno they had taped the night before, and were very loud about it. Now….they are only permitted to do this prior to Jihad. If a Muslim man goes into a strip club, he has to view the woman via mirror with his back to her.(don’t ask me….I don’t make the rules, but I’ve studied) The 3rd stewardess informed them that they were not to have electronic devices on at this time. To which one of the men said “shut up infidel dog!” She went to take the camcorder and he began to scream in her face in Arabic.. At that exact moment, all 11 of them got up and started to walk the cabin. This is where I had had enough! I got up and started to the back where I heard a voice behind me from another Texan twice my size say “I got your back.” I grabbed the man who had been on the phone by the arm and said “you WILL go sit
down or you Will be thrown from this plane!” As I “led” him around me to take his seat, the fellow Texan grabbed him by the back of his neck and his waist and headed out with him. I then grabbed the 2nd man and said, “You WILL do the same!” He protested but adrenaline was flowing now and he was going to go. As I escorted him forward the plane doors open and 3 TSA agents and 4 police officers entered. Me and my new Texan friend were told to cease and desist for they had this under control. I was happy to oblige actually. There was some commotion in the back, but within moments, all 11 were escorted off the plane. They then unloaded their luggage.

We talked about the occurrence and were in disbelief that it had happen, when suddenly, the door open again and on walked all 11!! Stone faced, eyes front and robotic (the only way I can describe it). The stewardess from the back had been in tears and when she saw this, she was having NONE of it! Being that I was up front, I heard and saw the whole ordeal. She told the TSA agent there was NO WAY she was staying on the plane with these men. The agent told her they had searched them and were going to go through their luggage with a fine tooth comb and that they were allowed to proceed to Houston. The captain and co-captain came out
and told the agent “we and our crew will not fly this plane!” After a
word or two, the entire crew, luggage in tow, left the plane. 5
minutes later, the cabin door opened again and a whole new crew
walked on.

Again…..this is where I had had enough!!! I got up and asked “What the hell is going on!?!?” I was told to take my seat. They were sorry for the delay and I would be home shortly. I said “I’m getting off this plane”. The stewardess sternly told me that she could not allow me to get off. (now I’m mad!) I said “I am a grown man who bought this ticket, who’s time is mine with a family at home and I am going through that door, or I’m going through that door with you under my arm!! But I am going through that door!!” And I heard a voice behind me say “so am I”. Then everyone behind us started to get up and say the same. Within 2 minutes, I was walking off that plane where I was met with more agents who asked me to write a statement. I had 5 hours to kill at this point so why the hell not. Due to the amount of people who got off that flight, it was cancelled. I was supposed to be in Houston at 6pm. I got here at 12:30am.

Look up the date. Flight 297Atlanta to Houston.

If this wasn’t a dry run, I don’t know what one is. The terrorists wanted to see how TSA would handle it, how the crew would handle it, and how the passengers would handle it.

I’m telling this to you because I want you to know…..

The threat is real. I saw it with my own eyes….

Oklahoma law passed, 37 to 9, had a few liberals in the mix, an amendment to place the Ten Commandments on the front entrance to the state capitol. The feds in D.C., along with the ACLU, said it would be a mistake. Hey this is a conservative state, based on Christian values...! HB 1330
Guess what.......... Oklahoma did it anyway.
Oklahoma recently passed a law in the state to incarcerate all illegal immigrants, and ship them back to where they came from unless they want to get a green card and become an American citizen. They all scattered. HB 1804. Hope we didn't send any of them to your state. This was against the advice of the Federal Government, and the ACLU, they said it would be a mistake.

Recently we passed a law to include DNA samples from any and all illegals to the Oklahoma database, for criminal investigative purposes. Pelosi said it was unconstitutional. SB 1102

Several weeks ago, we passed a law, declaring Oklahoma as a Sovereign state, not under the Federal Government directives. Joining Texas , Montana and Utah as the only states to do so. The federal Government has made bold steps to take away our guns. Oklahoma, a week ago, passed a law confirming people in this state have the right to bear arms and transport them in their vehicles. I'm sure that was a set back for the criminals (and Obamaites). Liberals didn't like it -- But ...

Just this month, my state has voted and passed a law that ALL driver's license exams will be printed in English, and only English, and no other language. We have been called racist for doing this, but the fact is that ALL of our road signs are in English only. If you want to drive in Oklahoma , you must read and write English. Really simple.
By the way, Obama does not like any of this.

Adventures with AT&T

I had written about my adventures with dish network in the past. I had a lot of frustration with them because whenever I called with a problem, I always had to speak with someone in India.

I was also having some problems with Comcast. Their service was rather lousy and slow at times, and they had mistakenly disconnected us a few times.

I had seen commercials on the television for AT&T U-verse service, and I thought that I would check it out. Everything seemed okay, and it seemed like I could save some money, so I signed up. I have had their service since this past April, and everything had been going well until this past Monday.

I had been telling a neighbor about how good the service was from AT&T. I had been singing their praises high and low, so they decided to give it a try. The installer came out and started to hook them up. He had gotten everything in place, but told my neighbor he had found a problem and somebody else would have to be called out to fix it. A second guy showed up and started working on her system and in the box at the back corner of our properties. The second guy said that he had everything straightened out, and that he didn't think that he had cut our line in the box. To be sure, he was going to come over and check out our service. Instead of doing that, he jumped in his truck and took off.

We had been out of the house at the time, and when we came back we had no service. I had seen the first guy working at the neighbors house, so I went over and asked her what was going on. She told me about the first guy calling in the second guy, and the second guy said that the service would only be out for about an hour. We were home when the second guy said he was going to check with us and left in his truck instead.

I went back over to the neighbors house and asked her if she knew what was going on. I told her that we still didn't have any service. She checked, and her phone worked, but her Internet was still down. She called the first guy that was out there and spoke with him, and he said all that he could do was put in another ticket and someone would be back out in a little while to take care of it. This was at one o'clock.

At four o'clock I went back over to the neighbors house and asked her if she had heard anything. She hadn't heard anything, so I came back home and I called AT&T. I got through to some guy who had a little bit of a middle eastern accent, and told him what was going on. I told him that the second guy said that he did not think that he had cut the wire, but I told him I believed he did. Well, the guy on the phone didn't listen to me. He ran some tests and told me that the line was dead which I knew, and had me do some stuff to the router. That didn't help, and he ran some more tests from his end. He was polite enough to tell me that when I did that tinkering with the router that he told me to, I had lost all 75 programs and movies that were stored on the DVR.

Now comes the good part. He said that he would have to send a technician out to fix the system. Only he couldn't come out that night. He told me that the earliest he could get someone out was in three days. I could not believe what that guy was telling me. I reminded him that it was his company that had created the problem, the technician had lied to my neighbor, and that I didn't have to wait three days to get the line cut, even though it was not supposed to be cut. I asked him why they gave my neighbor service and cut ours and he couldn't answer me. I asked him why they could not get someone out that night to fix the problem, and all that he would say was that the earliest they could get someone out was in three days.

I explained to him that I was talking to him on my cell phone. I reminded him that I did not have any telephone, television, or Internet. And since the telephone was down, my security system would not work. I told him that my mother was very old and in poor health, and that I needed a phone to call for help in case something happened to her. I also told him that my alarm system had a feature on it that I could press a button and it would call an ambulance for me, but it wasn't working because the phone lines were down. He said that he was sorry, but the earliest to get someone else is in three days. I told him that I had seen his company's people out working late at night, and why couldn't he send one of them over to fix it. I told him that a cut line does not take that long to splice, and if you sent one of those people over they could have it fixed in five minutes. He said that he was sorry and I had to wait three days. My mother was sitting at the dining room table listening to my conversations with him, and when she heard that I was getting nowhere with him she started hollering and yelling. He said once again that he was sorry there was nothing he could do about it, and what day and time would I like the technician to come out and fix it.

I got so angry and disgusted that I threw my cell phone down on the table. I had never done anything like that before and it kind of startled my mother. She picked up my cell phone and lit into the guy. She gave him what for; she was hollering and yelling, and a few times she said "no you listen!". This went on for 20 minutes; he was telling her the same thing he told me and would not budge an inch. Finally my mother told him that she wanted to speak with his supervisor. His supervisor got on the phone and they went at it for about another 15 minutes. When my mother saw that she was not getting anywhere with that guy, she said that she wanted to talk to his supervisor. She was getting more of the same from the second supervisor, when she asked him if he was in the United States. He pretended like he didn't know what she was talking about. She asked him if he was talking to her from the United States. He said no but he had taken training in the United States. She then told him that she want to speak to someone in the United States. He started to argue with her, and she said that she wanted to speak to someone in the United States, and the law said that he had to switch her over when she asked for it.

She got switched over to someone in the United States, after waiting about 10 minutes. She spoke to a guy named William, and had to briefly explain to him what was going on. He was very apologetic, but he said that we would have to wait three days to get someone out here. My mom started yelling again, and chewed him out for another half-hour. She informed him that we had referred a lot of people to his company, and she did not deserve to be treated that way. The guy still tried to give her a hard time but she wouldn't let him. She told him if he didn't get someone out here in an hour, she would call a TV station and let them know how well they treat their customers.

He stalled and sputtered for a while, pretending like he was looking something up or doing something on the computer. He said it was just past the end of the shift and all of the technicians had gone home. My mom suggested, very strongly, that he call someone back out and have it fixed. He said he couldn't do it, but he could have someone out here first thing in the morning. He said that that was the best that he could do. I don't know what happened with the deal that they couldn't get someone out for three days. Anyway, my mother said that that was all right, but if the guy wasn't out here first thing in the morning, at 8 AM like he promised, she would call the television station and go to the newspapers and anybody else that would listen and complain about their service.

Well, the technician showed up the very next morning, an hour late. It took him 2 1/2 hours, but he got everything going. When he came, I told him that the previous technician had cut the wire in the box. He said he had to start at the middle of the system and work back both ways just to make sure. He would not listen to me when I told him that the line was cut in the box. When he got everything going, I asked him what was wrong. He told me that the line was cut in the box. Now I wonder where I heard that before?

The bottom line is that we went through all that headache, all that arguing and bull crap, was out of service for over 24 hours, when all anybody would have to do was come out and make a simple splice. If they had sent someone out that night, and that person listened to me, it all could have been taken care of in less than an hour.

The major part of the problem was the guy over in India. He just would not listen to me, and he stuck to the script that he was reading from. If he had understood English, he could have had it taken care of right away. Instead, we had to argue with them for over 4 1/2 hours, and I had to wait over 24 hours for them to get it fixed all the time worrying about what I would do if my mother needed an ambulance.

That is a hell of a way to treat their customers.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, the people in India can read, write, and speak English. But they do not understand it!!!

A Tampon Story

I am reminded that "God Works in Mysterious Ways."

Tampons to the rescue in Iraq !! Don't worry, it's a good story, and worth reading. It's even humorous in parts. It's from the mother of a Marine in Iraq .

My son told me how wonderful the care packages we had sent them from the ladies auxiliary were and wanted me to tell everyone thank you.

He said that one guy we'll call Marine X, got a female care package and everyone was giving him a hard time. My son said, 'Marine X got some really nice smelling lotion and everyone really likes it, so every time he goes to sleep they steal it from him.' I told my son I was really sorry about the mistake, and if he wanted I would send Marine X another package. He told me not to worry about Marine X because every time I send something to him, he shares it with Marine X.

He said when my husband and I sent the last care package, Marine X came over to his cot picked up the box, started fishing through it, and said, 'What'd we get this time?'

But my son said they had the most fun with Marine X's package. He
said he wasn't sure who it was supposed to go to, but the panties were size 20, and he said one of the guys got on top of the Humvee and jumped off with the panties over his head and yelled, 'Look at me, I'm an Airborne Ranger!!!!'

One of the guys attached the panties to an antenna and it blew in
the wind like a windsock. He said it entertained them for quite awhile.

Then of course.......they had those tampons... When he brought this
up, my imagination just went running, but he continued.
My son said they had to go on a mission and Marine X wanted the
Chap-Stick and lotion for the trip. He grabbed a bunch of the items
from his care package and got in the Humvee. As luck would have it
he grabbed the tampons too, and my son said everyone was teasing
him about 'not forgetting his feminine hygiene products.'

He said things went well for a while, then the convoy was ambushed and a Marine was shot.. He said the wound was pretty clean, but it was deep .. He said they were administering first aid but couldn't get the bleeding to slow down, and someone said, 'Hey! Use Marine X's tampons!' My son said they put the tampon in the wound. At this point my son profoundly told Me, 'Mom,did you know that tampons expand?' ('Well....yeah!')

They successfully slowed the bleeding until the guy got better medical attention. When they went to check on him later, the surgeon told them,'You guys saved his life. If you hadn't stopped that bleeding he would have bled to death.' My Son said, 'Mom, the tampons sent by the Marine Moms by mistake saved a Marine's life.'

At this point I asked him, 'Well, what did you do with the rest of the
tampons?'

He said, 'Oh, we divided them up and we all have them in our flak jackets, and I kept two for our first aid kit.'

I am absolutely amazed by the ingenuity of our Marines. I can't believe that something that started out as a mistake then turned into a joke, ended up saving someone's life. My sister said she doesn't believe in mistakes. She believes God had a plan all along. She believes that 'female care package' was sent to Marine X to save our Marine.

Either way, our efforts have boosted the morale of many Marines,
provided much needed items for our troops, AND saved the life of
a Marine! God bless every one of you for your efforts and hard work, and God bless our Marines, Army, Navy , Air Force and all our military service personnel.

In fall 1988 she was one of a select group of intellectuals who were featured in Bill Moyer's television series, "A World of Ideas." The transcript of her conversation with Moyers has been published in his book, A World of Ideas. Dr. Wortham is author of "The Other Side of Racism: A Philosophical Study of Black Race Consciousness" which analyzes how race consciousness is transformed into political strategies and policy issues. She has published numerous articles on the implications of individual rights for civil rights policy, and is currently writing a book on theories of social and cultural marginality.
Recently, she has published articles on the significance of multiculturalism and Afrocentricism in education, the politics of victimization and the social and political impact of political correctness.. Shortly after an interview in 2004, she was awarded tenure.

Fellow Americans,
Please know: I am Black; I grew up in the segregated South. I did not vote for Barack Obama; I wrote in Ron Paul's name as my choice for president. Most importantly, I am not race conscious. I do not require a Black president to know that I am a person of worth, and that life is worth living. I do not require a Black president to love the ideal of America .
I cannot join you in your celebration. I feel no elation. There is no smile on my face. I am not jumping with joy. There are no tears of triumph in my eyes. For such emotions and behavior to come from me, I would have to deny all that I know about the requirements of human flourishing and survival - all that I know about the history of the United States of America , all that I know about American race relations, and all that I know about Barack Obama as a politician. I would have to deny the nature of the "change" that Obama asserts has come to America .

Most importantly, I would have to abnegate my certain understanding that you have chosen to sprint down the road to serfdom that we have been on for over a century. I would have to pretend that individual liberty has no value for the success of a human life. I would have to evade your rejection of the slender reed of capitalism on which your success and mine depend. I would have to think it somehow rational that 94 percent of the 12 million Blacks in this country voted for a man because he looks like them (that Blacks are permitted to play the race card), and that they were joined by self-declared "progressive" whites who voted for him because he doesn't look like them.
I would have to wipe my mind clean of all that I know about the kind of people who have advised and taught Barack Obama and will fill posts in his administration - political intellectuals like my former colleagues at the Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government.
I would have to believe that "fairness" is equivalent of justice. I would have to believe that a man who asks me to "go forward in a new spirit of service, in a new service of sacrifice" is speaking in my interest.. I would have to accept the premise of a man that economic prosperity comes from the "bottom up," and who arrogantly believes that he can will it into existence by the use of government force. I would have to admire a man who thinks the standard of living of the masses can be improved by destroying the most productive and the generators of wealth.

Finally, Americans, I would have to erase from my consciousness the scene of 125,000 screaming, crying, cheering people in Grant Park, Chicago irrationally chanting "Yes We Can!" Finally, I would have to wipe all memory of all the times I have heard politicians, pundits, journalists, editorialists, bloggers and intellectuals declare that capitalism is dead - and no one, including especially Alan Greenspan, objected to their assumption that the particular version of the anti-capitalistic mentality that they want to replace with their own version of anti-capitalism is anything remotely equivalent to capitalism.
So you have made history, Americans. You and your children have elected a Black man to the office of the president of the United States , the wounded giant of the world. The battle between John Wayne and Jane Fonda is over - and Fonda won. Eugene McCarthy and George McGovern must be very happy men. Jimmy Carter, too. And the Kennedys have at last gotten their Kennedy look-a-like. The self-righteous welfare statists in the suburbs can feel warm moments of satisfaction for having elected a Black person.

So, toast yourselves: 60s countercultural radicals, 80s yuppies and 90s bourgeois bohemians. Toast yourselves, Black America . Shout your glee Harvard, Princeton , Yale, Duke, Stanford, and Berkeley. You have elected not an individual who is qualified to be president, but a Black man who, like the pragmatist Franklin Roosevelt, promises to - Do Something! You now have someone who has picked up the baton of Lyndon Johnson's Great Society. But you have also foolishly traded your freedom and mine - what little there is left - for the chance to feel good.

There is nothing in me that can share your happy obliviousness. God Help Us all...

Harry Truman deported over two million Illegal's after WWII to create jobs for returning veterans.

My wife sat down on the couch next to me as I was flipping channels. She asked, 'What's on TV?'

I said, 'Dust.'

Saturday morning I got up early, quietly dressed, made my lunch, grabbed the dog, and slipped quietly into the garage. I hooked up the boat up to the truck, and proceeded to back out into a torrential downpour. The wind was blowing 50 mph, so I pulled back into the garage, turned on the radio, and discovered that the weather would be bad all day.

I went back into the house, quietly undressed,

in the candy aisle, cookies in the cookie aisle; same
for fruit, cereal and soda in their respective aisles.
Meanwhile, Gramps is working his way around, saying in a
controlled voice, "Easy, Albert, we won't be
long."

Another outburst, and she hears Gramps
calmly say, "It's okay, Albert, just a couple more
minutes and we'll be out of here. Calm down."

At the checkout, the little terror
is throwing items out of the cart, and Gramps again in a
controlled voice says, "Albert,
Albert, relax buddy, don't get upset. We'll
be home in five minutes; stay cool, Albert."

Very impressed, the woman goes
outside where Gramps is loading his groceries and the
boy into the car. "You know, sir, it's none
of my business, but you were amazing in there. I
don't know how you did it. That whole time, you
kept your composure, and no matter how loud and
disruptive he got, you just calmly kept saying things
would be okay. Albert is very lucky to have you as his
grandpa."

Take Down the Bird Feeder

Got this in an e-mail. If you think about it, it's all true. The bird feeder should have been taken down a long time ago.

I bought a bird feeder. I hung it on my back porch and filled it with seed. What a beauty of a bird feeder it is, as I filled it lovingly with seed. Within a week we had hundreds of birds taking advantage of the continuous flow of free and easily accessible food. But then the birds started building nests in the boards of the patio, above the table, and next to the barbecue.
Then came the poop. It was everywhere: on the patio tile, the chairs, the table ...everywhere! Then some of the birds turned mean. They would dive bomb me and try to peck me even though I had fed them out of my own pocket. And others birds were boisterous and loud. They sat on the feeder and squawked and screamed at all hours of the day and night And demanded that I fill it when it got low on food.
After a while, I couldn't even sit on my own back porch anymore. So I took down the bird feeder and in three days the birds were gone. I cleaned up their mess and took down the many nests they had built all over the patio.
Soon, the back yard was like it used to be.... Quiet, serene and no one demanding their rights to a free meal.
Now let's see.
Our government gives out free food, subsidized housing, free medical care, and free education and allows anyone born here to be an automatic citizen.
Then the illegal came by the tens of thousands. Suddenly our taxes went up to pay for free services; small apartments are housing 5 families; you have to wait 6 hours to be seen by an emergency room doctor; your child's 2nd grade class is behind other schools because over half the class doesn't speak English. Corn Flakes now come in a bilingual box; I have to 'press one' to hear my bank talk to me in English, and people waving flags other than 'Old Glory' are squawking and screaming in the streets, demanding more rights and free liberties.
Just my opinion, but maybe it's time for the government to take down the bird feeder.

Kanye West hates white people.

Everybody is in an uproar about what West did at the VMA's, as well they should be.

I didn't watch them on TV, but I did see the clip on the net. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Here this young girl, Taylor Swift, gets an award, and that rude pig West gets up and ruins it for her.

I'm not a fan of country music, so I don't know what Swift's video was like. I could tell that she was thrilled with the award. From what she said, she certainly didn't expect to win it, and it appeared that it was her first award.

Then that classless idiot West gets up there and ruins it for her. The poor thing stood up there frozen, probably in shock, not believing what was happening to her.

West later apologized on his blog, then pretended to be all sad and broken up on Jay Leno's show. Too little too late. Poor Taylor Swift will never get that moment back. Even though Bouncy later brought her back on stage, her moment was gone. Taken from her by some childish, rude racist pig.

This was not the first time West had done that. He had done the same thing at the European VMA's, I believe. Hopefully the next time he does it, someone will break their foot off in his big ass, or whack him in the head with the award.

Emergency Room Tactics

I got this in an e-mail today. It was so good I had to pass it on.

The other day, I needed to go to the emergency room.

Not wanting to sit there for 4 hours, I put on my old Army fatigues and stuck a patch onto the front of my shirt that I had downloaded off the Internet.

When I went into the E. R., I noticed that 3/4 of the people got up and left. I guess they decided that they weren't that sick after all.

Cut at least 3 hours off my waiting time.

Here's the patch. Feel free to use it the next time you're in need of quicker emergency service.

It also works at DMV and the Laundromat.
Don't try it at Wendy's, The whole crew will exit and you'll never get your order.

Town Hall Meetings

There has been a lot on the news lately about town hall meetings. More specifically, the town hall meetings have been about Healthcare reform.

A lot of what’s been said concerns the citizens that are upset with Washington and health care reform. We hear all the Washington politicians and all the talking heads on CNN and the mainstream media saying that the protesters are all organized. That they’re the same people going from meeting to meeting. That they are all members of some right wing organization that gives them their marching orders. We hear Nancy Pelosi saying that they are marching with swastikas on their signs. We hear them being called astroturf, right wing zealots, crazies, and every other horrible thing under the sun.

I was cruising around the Internet yesterday, and I came across some pictures of a protest of sorts that took place in Joliet Illinois, along with an article about it in the online version of the herald news:

It seems she, like all the other Illinois politicians, does not want to have a town hall meeting or any other kind of meeting with the voters.

Let’s take a look at those pictures.

Here we have a picture of the people in favor of Healthcare reform. We see a man holding a megaphone, a woman wearing a green Halverson shirt, a guy dressed in black wearing a union shirt from the UAW, and a woman in a black shirt that might be from another union. And look at their nice little signs. Repeating the same message over and over. Very nice looking signs. They look like they have been all professionally made up. They look like they have had a print shop somewhere make their signs for them. And they are all nailed onto the same kind of stick. And if you look in the blue border, there is some printing in there too that you can’t make out in the pictures.

Here are some more nice people with signs. If you look at the sign on the left you can see the printing in the blue border and you can kind of make it out. Why, it’s a web address. It says www. health care for America now.org ( without the spaces ). Now isn’t that something! They have a web address where you can go and get more information for Healthcare reform. It might even tell you where to go and what to do. If you look at the man holding the sign on the right, and look just below the sign, you can see “ama 08”. Somehow I don’t think that’s for the American Medical Association. Could it be “Obama 08”? Why, he must be a democrat!

Now let’s look at some not so nice pictures.

Look at these people! They have no professionally made signs, no sticks for their signs. They must not have a nice organization telling them what to do or printing signs for them. They must be against health care reform.

Here are some more people with homemade signs. There is one lady that has a sign that has printing on it. But it’s the only one. Why aren’t there more professionally printed signs? Maybe they don’t have an organization or website backing them up too. And look at that ladys sign wanting her voice to be heard. Doesn’t she know that she is supposed to shut up and do what Washington tells her to do? Shame on her wanting to be heard, shame shame.

More people with homemade signs. And not one stick among them for their signs. And look at that young man holding up copy of the constitution. And he has a flag on his shirt! And he is standing in front of a sign that has a flag on it! What is wrong with these people? Don’t they know that they aren’t supposed to bring the constitution into this debate? Shame on them.

All the smart ass remarks aside, it’s kind of easy to tell who is organized and who isn’t. Who has big money and corporations backing them and who doesn’t.

These are everyday people, just like you and me, that are finally speaking up for their rights. These are people that want the politicians to do what they tell them, and not follow some socialist ideas that will not work. They want to be heard, and they are being demonized for it.

The pro Healthcare people are being backed by Health Care for America Now. It seems like an organization of left wing liberal democrat zealots. They even have a listing for all the organizations that back it: http://healthcareforamericanow.org/site/content/who_we_are/

There are some organizations on that list that are horrible. Such as ACORN ( we all know about them), pro abortion groups, unions, Move On.org, La Raza, NEA, and the list goes on and on. They even listed some medical groups which I doubt are real, or really do agree with them. They tried that with AARP, and it backfired on them.

I have really enjoyed watching news coverage of the town hall meetings, and the politicians getting their butts reamed. I wish it would happen more often.

I have been hearing about more politicians refusing to hold town hall meetings even when the voters demand it. They don’t want to go out anywhere in public where they might face opposition, they’re probably afraid that they might fowl their britches .

I hope old Arlen Spector was wetting himself during those town hall meetings. Maybe I should buy stock in the company that makes Depends.

The Congressman and the Little Girl

A US Congressman was seated next to a little girl on the airplane when the Congressman turned to her and said, 'Let's talk. I've heard that flights go quicker if you strike up a conversation with your fellow passenger.'
The little girl, who had just opened her book, closed it slowly and said to the stranger, 'What would you like to talk about?'
'Oh, I don't know,' said the stranger. 'How about the banking crisis?' and he smiles.
OK, ' she said. 'That could be an interesting and timely topic. But let me ask you a question first. A horse, a cow, and a deer all eat the same stuff -- grass. Classmates Part 11

After high school, Keith worked on a few farms tending livestock. He usually smelled like poo whenever he came over. When he turned 21, he decided to change careers and became a Chippendales dancer. Now he just smells real bad.

Allen

Allen went on to college after high school, where he got a degree in music. During and after college he played in allot of bands, and ended up going on tour. He got tired of touring, and decided to get married and settled down in Colorado. He moved to Florida so he could tease old people.

Dave

Dave married Marsha and then did a stint in the Army. After Dave got out of the Army, they settled in the south. Dave enjoys wood working and goosing old ladies.

Sharon got married and moved to Oregon. She runs a few Starbucks. She does all her own dental work. She likes to go into crowded elevators and make people think the guy next to her did it.

Dave

Dave married Sharon and moved to Mississippi. He later got divorced. He likes to patrol the interstate and stop the bad people. Maybe some day he will become a policeman

Connie

Connie has been married twice. She went to college and got an undergraduate degree in business management. She does charity work teaching people how to use toilet paper.

Kevin

Kevin went on to college and returned to the area. He is divorced. He says with a little luck he could become a garbage man some day.

Charlie

Charlie is a professor of nuclear physics at M.I.T. He and his wife have 3 children; DeVon, Shawnequa, and Ralph. He sometimes stinks like rotten cheese.

Pat went on to college and became the student body president because she had such a nice student body. She returned home and got married and started a family. Her husband races stock cars on the weekend. On nice summer evenings she can be found standing on the roof of her house, completely naked except for paper bags on her feet, shouting “Give me liberty or give me a potato!!!”

Sue

Sue married Gilbert after high school and moved to Kentucky. She has a very large family. Gilbert works as a mechanic at a car dealership, and Sue works part time as a professor at the local clown college.

Charlie

Charlie got a job with the railroad as a conductor. He enjoys shouting “All aboard!” Maybe some day he'll do it when he's at work. He got thrown out of Wal-mart because he made a trail of tomato juice on the floor leading to the ladies room.

Julie

Julie moved to Nevada and got married. She has a long neck now from eating too much beef jerky. She wished her husband took more Viagra.

Ronnie

Ronnie went to West Point and did a stint in the military. When he got out, he moved to Colorado and got married. He likes to hang out in bars and drink beer. His doctor told him to wear a helmet. He likes it when people call him “Mr. Sticky”

Adventures With Dish Network, Part 2

I had a response to my posting about my dealings with Dish Network, and I replied with the following letter. I decided to post it here in case there was anybody else going crazy dealing with Dish Network/India.

Thanks for your comment. Sorry it took so long to get back to you.

I've had a few more dealings with Dish Network since my posting.

I called them to reactivate the receiver for the summer (the bill listed it in "pause" mode). I also changed the programming to Bronze 100 with locals.

I was lucky enough to reach someone in Texas, thank god. I told her that I would be using it at the weekend home, and didn't have it hooked up yet. She told me that it was reactivated and the programming changed, and I would have everything going when I hooked it up and turned it on.

I went to the weekend home for a long memorial day weekend. I hooked up the receiver and turned it on, and nothing. All I got was a message saying that the smart cart was not authorized to receive any programming. I tried all Thursday night to get it going, but nothing worked. I did bring a bunch of DVD's, so we started watching them.

The next day I drove 75 miles home and called Dish Network. I reached someone in India, and knew I was sunk. She told me that I would have to have the TV in front of me to read the error message to her. I told her that I was 75 miles away from it, and couldn't see it; I did tell her what the error codes were, but she insisted that I had to have the TV in front of me, and wanted me to read off the error codes that were being displayed. I told her repeatedly that I was 75 miles away from the TV. but she couldn't seem to understand me. I finally gave up, hung up, and drove back to the weekend home.

After the long weekend, I brought the receiver home, hooked it up to the old dish (we switched to ATT broadband for the house) and a TV, and called again. This time I was connected to a guy in Texas! I told him what was wrong, and he had me up and running in 5 minutes.

I talked to him a while, and he told me that when he runs into similar situations, he hangs up and keeps calling back until he reaches someone in the US. ( Nudge nudge wink wink).

I asked him about the bill, being charged for service that I didn't get, and he said that he would take care of it and then some to make up for the hassle. THAT made my day! A little sunshine on an otherwise gloomy day.

Steve still maintains a house in Custer Park, although he is hardly ever there. He spends most of his time in New York and Paris, where he is known as an expert on men’s fashion

After high school, Sharon got married to Dave T., I think. I heard that she later divorce him. After her divorce became final, she moved to the south of France and is a live ammunition tester.

Mike

Mike is married to a nurse and living in Channahon. At last report, he was thinking of starting his own business. In the evening, Mike likes to make home made ice cream that tastes like sushi.

Jill

Jill went on to college and got a masters degree in knitting. She has lots of boyfriends. One of them has a job. She likes to sneak into church and shout “Over here!”

Chris

Chris stayed in Braidwood and got married. They run a tomato stand down by the highway. She says her brother is still mean to her and has webbed toes. She still likes to pee in his corn flakes.

Classmates, Part 7

Here is part 7 of my classmates series. I wasn't expecting to get it published so soon, but I have a little bit of time now that it's been raining all day.

I guess that's one good thing about the rain, Another is that I won't have to open up the summer weekend place this week. The later, the better when it comes to that place.

Susan

Susan married Chuck and has 2 daughters, and lives in Braidwood. She is a nurse at Silver Cross Hospital. Susan is amazing. If you want to know what she looks like now, picture her exactly as she was in high school, with her hair cut to shoulder length. She hasn't aged a second. She must have that Dick Clark gene. She can often be found chasing people around the town square shouting “Bend over, I’m a nurse!”

Maria

After high school, Maria married that Love dude. I heard she divorced him and married somebody else. In the evenings she likes to run around her front yard in circles, waving her arms above her head and shouting Whirl whirl whirl!!!

Jim

Jim moved out west to become a prospector and minor league baseball coach. He has a part time job chewing food for other people.

Sue

Sue moved to Colorado and became an amateur wrestler. She has a rectal infection that makes her fart allot. They think she caused her pet dog to die.

Harriet

Harriet moved to Kankakee and started a family. She is self employed as a door knob tester. She likes to hang out in bars and drink beer. She likes to go to clothing stores, go into a fitting room, waite awhile, and then shout “HEY! THERE’S NO TOILET PAPER IN HERE!”

Classmates Part 6

I finally got a few minutes free, so here is the latest installment of my classmates series. Seems like the warmer the weather gets, the less time I have. Oh well, soon it'll be too hot and humid to do anything outside. Lets see, what can I dream up next?

John

John is married and has children. He lives in Louisiana where he is a college professor. He is an army veteran. He is fluent in Russian. He did most of his hitch in Quantico, Virginia. He likes to sneak up on little old ladies and shout Hey grandma, lets party!. Then when they're not looking he smears bacon grease on the handles of their walkers. He likes to go to big stores and put boxes of condoms in other people’s carts when they aren’t looking.

Ted

Ted still lives in Braidwood in the family house that he bought from his brothers. He works in the cafeteria of the high school, where the kids call him the guy that works in the cafeteria. He has an illness that makes him scratch allot. When an announcement comes over the PA system, he curls up in the fetal position and screams “OH NO! IT’S THOSE VOICES AGAIN!”

Verlin

Verlin joined the military and became a war hero. Now he sells perfume in a department store. Sirens make him cry. He was caught in the local NAPA store practicing his “Madonna look” with plastic funnels.

Debby

Debby is married and she lives on a farm with her family in the Braidwood - Coal City area. She lost all her teeth when she was licking an egg beater after making a cake and her cat turned it on.

Jim

Jim is married and living in Bonfield. He crashed his car allot after high school, and now he talks real slow.

Bill still lives in the vicinity. He married one of Mike’s sisters. He wants to be a doctor and can write his own name. He likes to dart around department stores while loudly humming the “Mission Impossible” theme song.

Lori is married and still lives in the Braidwood area. She likes country music now (BOOOO!). She likes to chase people through her pumpkin patch in her underwear. She likes to say “Pst, come here!”

David

David is single again. He has 15 children, all with the same name. He owns the world’s biggest flea circus. He still dreams of becoming a rodeo clown.

Greg is married and living in Braidwood. He is a fireman and has been on TV. He enjoys telling people that he's a fireman and has been on TV. You might be able to catch him sneaking out behind the firehouse to shake out his hose.

Doug

“Grandpa” Doug is married, and has children and grandchildren. He became a grandfather in his 30's. He is an independent trucker. He can often be heard on the CB radio saying “Grandma has sores all over and the flies are terrible!”

Obama a narcissist?

It was just the other day that I was thinking about what was happening in this country. All the crap that Obama and the democrats were pulling; crap, among other things, meaning power grabs.

When Bush had a stimulus package, the demunists were in an uproar. How could he do this? We'll go broke! He doesn't have the authority to do this! It won't help anything! Blah blah blah. All I know is that I had an extra $300 in my pocket that I really needed.

Then Obama comes along with his own stimulus package, and all our troubles are solved! It's the greatest thing since sliced bread! We won't go broke! So what if the national debt is the highest it's ever been! It's Obama's plan, so it will work! Nothing more than fertilizer.

The demunists were so eager to pass the package, nobody had the time to read it. But who needs to read it, it's from Obama so it's got to be good. All that stuff about transparency and giving 5 days to review a bill before passing was just a idea, they really didn't mean it.

So the demunists and their repubulist cohorts rammed it through and they all had multiple orgasms all over themselves.

Something didn't seem right to me. It reminded me of some things that had happened in the past. Nevermind, it was all in my head.

Then dear old "Barry" took control of GM and Chrysler, firing the head of GM and telling Chrysler to merge with Fiat or else! What a power grab! Taking control of private business and telling them what to do. It's also rumored that his flunkies are going to be dictating how much a person can be paid. Not just the suits, mind you, but everybody!

After I got done flipping out ( OMFG! No more Chevy Corvette! Now it'll be an "Obama Corvette", powered by a lawnmower engine and topping out at 30mph! ), all this started to seem familiar. I remember reading about stuff like this in history class! An all powerful leader,worshipped by all, saying all nice stuff to make everyone swoon over him, in charge of a government that is taking over private business. This same kind of stuff was done by people with names like Adolph and Chairman Mao, and Sadam. What a coincidence!

Then I get this e-mail today. Hmmmm. Seems like I had been thinking the same thing, almost. I guess all great minds think alike. ( Hardy har har!).

Anyway, this guy makes allot of sense, and what he says is true. Give it a read and see what you think.

This sounds dead on --- its scary!

Dr. Sam Vaknin is an Israeli psychologist. Interesting view on our new president. Dr. Vaknin has written extensively about narcissism.

Dr. Vaknin States "I must confess I was impressed by Sen. Barack Obama from the first time I saw him. At first I was excited to see a black candidate. He looked youthful, spoke well, appeared to be confident - a wholesome presidential package. I was put off soon, not just because of his shallowness but also because there was an air of haughtiness in his demeanor that was unsettling. His posture and his body language were louder than his empty words. Obama's speeches are unlike any political speech we have heard in American history. Never a politician in this land had such quasi "religious" impact on so many people. The fact that Obama is a total incognito with zero accomplishment, makes this inexplicable infatuation alarming. Obama is not an ordinary man. He is not a genius. In fact he is quite ignorant on most important subjects."

Barack Obama is a narcissist. Dr. Sam Vaknin, the author of the Malignant Self Love believes "Barack Obama appears to be a narcissist."

Vaknin is a world authority on narcissism. He understands narcissism and describes the inner mind of a narcissist like no other person. When he talks about narcissism everyone listens.

Vaknin says that Obama's language, posture and demeanor, and the testimonies of his closest, dearest and nearest suggest that the Senator is either a narcissist or he may have narcissistic personality disorder (NPD).

Narcissists project a grandiose but false image of themselves. Jim Jones, the charismatic leader of People's Temple, the man who led over 900 of his followers to cheerfully commit mass suicide and even murder their own children was also a narcissist. David Koresh, Charles Manson, Joseph Koni, Shoko Asahara, Stalin, Saddam, Mao,Kim Jong Ill and Adolph Hitler are a few examples of narcissists of our time.

All these men had a tremendous influence over their fanciers. They created a personality cult around themselves and with their blazing speeches elevated their admirers, filled their hearts with enthusiasm and instilled in their minds a new zest for life. They gave them hope! They promised them the moon, but alas, invariably they brought them to their doom. When you are a victim of a cult of personality, you don't know it until it is too late.

One determining factor in the development of NPD is childhood abuse.

"Obama's early life was decidedly chaotic and replete with traumatic andmentally bruising dislocations," says Vaknin. "Mixed-race marriages were even less common then. His parents went through a divorce when he was an infant (two years old). Obama saw his father only once again, before he died in a car accident. Then his mother re-married and Obama had to relocate to Indonesia, a foreign land with a radically foreign culture, to be raised by a step-father. At the age of ten, he was whisked off to live with his maternal (white)grandparents. He saw his mother only intermittently in the following few years and then she vanished from his life in 1979. She died of cancer in 1995".

One must never underestimate the manipulative genius of pathological narcissists. They project such an imposing personality that it overwhelms those around them. Charmed by the charisma of the narcissist, people become like clay in his hands. They cheerfully do his bidding and delight to be at his service. The narcissist shapes the world around himself and reduces others in his own inverted image. He creates a cult of personality. His admirers become his co-dependents. Narcissists have no interest in things that do not help them to reach their personal objective. They are focused on one thing alone and that is power. All other issues are meaningless to them and they do not want to waste their precious time on trivialities. Anything that does not help them is beneath them and do not deserve their attention.

If an issue raised in the Senate does not help Obama in one way or another, he has no interest in it. The "present" vote is a safe vote. No one can criticize him if things go wrong. Those issues are unworthy by their very nature because they are not about him. Obama's election as the first black president of the Harvard Law Review led to a contract and advance to write a book about race relations.

The University of Chicago Law School provided him a lot longer than
expected and at the end it evolved into, guess what? His own autobiography! Instead of writing a scholarly paper focusing on race relations, for which he had been paid, Obama could not resist writing about his most sublime self. He entitled the book Dreams from My Father.

Not surprisingly, Adolph Hitler also wrote his own autobiography when he was still nobody. So did Stalin. For a narcissist no subject is as important as his own self. Why would he waste his precious time and genius writing about insignificant things when he can write about such an august being as himself? Narcissists are often callous and even ruthless. As the norm, they lack conscience. This is evident from Obama's lack of interest in his own brother who lives on only one dollar per month. A man who lives in luxury, who takes a private jet to vacation in Hawaii, and who has raised nearly half a billion dollars for his campaign (something unprecedented in history) has no interest in the plight of his own brother. Why? Because, his brother cannot be used for his ascent to power.

A narcissist cares for no one but himself. This election is like no other in the history of America. The issues are insignificant compared to what is at stake. What can be more dangerous than having a man bereft of conscience, a serial liar, and one who cannot distinguish his fantasies from reality as the leader of the free world? I hate to sound alarmist, but one is a fool if one is not alarmed. Many politicians are narcissists. They pose no threat to others...They are simply self serving and selfish.

Obama evidences symptoms of pathological narcissism, which is different from the run-of-the-mill narcissism of a Richard Nixon or a Bill Clinton for example. To him reality and fantasy are intertwined. This is a mental health issue, not just a character flaw. Pathological narcissists are dangerous because they look normal and even intelligent. It is this disguise that makes them treacherous.

Today the Democrats have placed all their hopes in Obama. But this man could put an end to their party. The great majority of blacks have also decided to vote for Obama. Only a fool does not know that their support for him is racially driven. This is racism, pure and simple. The downside of this is that if Obama turns out to be the disaster I predict, he will cause widespread resentment among the whites.

The blacks are unlikely to give up their support of their man. Cultic mentality is pernicious and unrelenting. They will dig their heads deeper in the sand and blame Obama's detractors of racism. This will cause a backlash among the whites. The white supremacists will take advantage of the discontent and they will receive widespread support. I predict that in less than four years, racial tensions will increase to levels never seen since the turbulent 1960's. Obama will set the clock back decades... America is the bastion of freedom. The peace of the world depends on the strength of America, and its weakness translates into the triumph of terrorism and victory of rogue nations.

It is no wonder that Ahmadinejad, Hugo Chavez, the Castrists, the
Hezbollah, the Hamas, the lawyers of the Guantanamo terrorists and virtually all sworn enemies of America are so thrilled by the prospect of their man in the White House. America is on the verge of destruction. There is no nsanity greater than electing a pathological narcissist as president.

Politicians are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them.

Have you ever wondered, if both the Democrats and the Republicans are against deficits, WHY do we have deficits?

Have you ever wondered, if all the politicians are against inflation and high taxes, WHY do we have inflation and high taxes?

You and I don't propose a federal budget. The president does.

You and I don't have the Constitutional authority to vote on appropriations. The House of representatives does.

You and I don't write the tax code, Congress does.

You and I don't set fiscal policy, Congress does.

You and I don't control monetary policy, the Federal Reserve Bank does.

One hundred senators, 435 congressmen, one president, and nine Supreme Court justices 545 human beings out of the 300 million are directly, legally, morally, and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague this country.

I excluded the members of the Federal Reserve Board because that problem was created by the Congress. In 1913, Congress delegated its Constitutional duty to provide a sound currency to a federally chartered, but private, central bank.

I excluded all the special interests and lobbyists for a sound reason. They have no legal authority. They have no ability to coerce a senator, a congressman, or a president to do one cotton-picking thing. I don't care if they offer a politician $1 million dollars in cash. The politician has the power to accept or reject it. No matter what the lobbyist promises, it is the legislator's responsibility to determine how he votes.

Those 545 human beings spend much of their energy convincing you that what they did is not their fault. They cooperate in this common con regardless of party.

What separates a politician from a normal human being is an excessive amount of gall. No normal human being would have the gall of a Speaker, who stood up and criticized the President for creating deficits. The president can only propose a budget. He cannot force the Congress to accept it.

The Constitution, which is the supreme law of the land, gives sole responsibility to the House of Representatives for originating and approving appropriations and taxes. Who is the speaker of the House? Nancy Pelosi. She is the leader of the majority party.. She and fellow House members, not the president, can approve any budget they want. If the president vetoes it, they can pass it over his veto if they agree to.

It seems inconceivable to me that a nation of 300 million can not replace 545 people who stand convicted -- by present facts -- of incompetence and irresponsibility. I can't think of a single domestic problem that is not traceable directly to those 545 people. When you fully grasp the plain truth that 545 people exercise the power of the federal government, then it must follow that what exists is what they want to exist.

If the tax code is unfair, it's because they want it unfair.

If the budget is in the red, it's because they want it in the red ..

If the Army & Marines are in IRAQ , it's because they want them in IRAQ

If they do not receive social security but are on an elite retirement plan not available to the people, it's because they want it that way.

There are no insoluble government problems.

Do not let these 545 people shift the blame to bureaucrats, whom they hire and whose jobs they can abolish; to lobbyists, whose gifts and advice they can reject; to regulators, to whom they give the power to regulate and from whom they can take this power. Above all, do not let them con you into the belief that there exists disembodied mystical forces like "the economy," "inflation," or "politics" that prevent them from doing what they take an oath to do.

Those 545 people, and they alone, are responsible.

They, and they alone, have the power.

They, and they alone, should be held accountable by the people who are their bosses.

Provided the voters have the gumption to manage their own employees.

We should vote all of them out of office and clean up their mess!

It's been a while since I've posted anything. Things have been hectic around here lately; I had water in the basement, I've been sick, my mom's been sick, and I have been working on this particular post. Jacqui is married and living in the area. She has children. Her hobbies include reading, horseback riding, and burning things with her flame thrower. She likes to go to the housewares department of the local Wall-Mart and set the alarm clocks to go off at 5 minute intervals.

Pat is married and has children. He lives in a suburb of Chicago. His hobbies include playing pick up basketball and telling people that he's Irish. He likes to go down to the park and body slam old ladies.

Ross

Ross is living in Plainfield. He is divorced and has no children. He holds 8 associate degrees. His hobbies include standing in mud puddles, and rolling naked on a floor covered with carpet tacks while chewing on aluminum foil and rubbing a cheese grater over his face.

Bruce

Bruce is married and living in town. He has children. He works at the high school. Bruce likes to spend his spare time making sock puppets and frightening small animals. He went to the K-Mart service desk and tried to put a bag of M&M’s on layaway.

If the immigrant is over 65, they can apply for SSI and Medicaid and get more than a woman on Social Security, who worked from 1944 until 2004.

She is only getting $791 per month because she was born in 1924 and there's a 'catch 22'.

It is interesting that the federal government provides a single refugee with a monthly allowance of $1,890. Each can also obtain an additional $580 in social assistance, for a total of $2,470 a month.

This compares to a single pensioner, who after contributing to the growth and development of America for 40 to 50 years, can only receive a monthly maximum of $1,012 in old age pension and Guaranteed Income Supplement.

Maybe our pensioners should apply as refugees!

After I retired, my wife insisted that I accompany her on her trips to Wal-Mart.
Unfortunately, like most men, I found shopping boring and preferred to get in and get out.
Equally unfortunately, my wife is like most women; she loved to browse.
Yesterday my dear wife received the following letter from the local Wal-Mart.
Dear Mrs. Samsel,
Over the past six months, your husband has been causing quite a commotion in our store. We cannot tolerate this behavior and have been forced to ban both of you from the store. Our complaints against Mr. Samsel are listed below and are documented by our video surveillance cameras.
#1   June 15:
Took 24 boxes of condoms and randomly put them in people's carts when they weren't looking.
#2   July 2:
Set all the alarm clocks in Housewares to go off at 5-minute intervals.
#3   July 7:
Made a trail of tomato juice on the floor leading to the women's restroom.
#4   July 19:
Walked up to an employee and told her in an official voice, "Code 3 in Housewares. Get on it right away."
#5   August 4:
Went to the Service Desk and tried to put a bag of M&M's on layaway.
#6   August 14:
Moved a "CAUTION - WET FLOOR" sign to a carpeted area.

Set up a tent in the camping department and told other shoppers he'd invite them in if they would bring pillows and blankets from the bedding department.

Adventures with Dish Network

One of the things that really ticks me off is when I have to deal with a service rep from India. It seems that more and more companies are outsourcing their service departments to India; probably to save money. I guess they’re willing to sacrifice customer satisfaction to save a couple of pennies here and there.

Offhand I can remember having to deal with India most recently when I have called for help from Dell and from Dish Network. I have had to deal with India a few more times in the past, but these two are the ones I could remember most recently.

I have always said that people in India can read, write, and speak English, but they don’t understand it. Below is a copy of emails that I went back and forth to India with at Dish Network that illustrates my point.

On Nov. 21, 2008, I telephoned customer service to make a change in my mother's service, at her request.

I told the representative that we wanted to change the service from 4 receivers to 1 receiver, and that we wanted to put that receiver in sleep mode, as we would only be using it in the summer.

On the phone I said “… sleep mode, or whatever you guys call it.”

The representative took down the numbers of the receivers that we wanted to cancel, and she told me that she would send boxes so that I may return the receivers.

She told me that Dish Network did not offer sleep mode service. I told her that all the receivers had been disconnected on Nov. 18, 2008, and that I wouldn't be using the remaining receiver until approximately May of 2009. The representative told me to just unplug the receiver and we wouldn't be billed for the time it was unplugged. She told me when we were ready to start using the receiver again to just plug it back in and we would start to be billed again. I suppose the service would automatically start up again.

We have yet to receive the boxes to ship the receivers back.

We have also received a bill. Not only have we received a bill, it has increased to $54.98 for 1 receiver, whereas we were paying $49.99 for 4 receivers! That is $4.99 more for fewer receivers, and no service!

I got the $49.99 figure from the last bill. I don’t know why the amount was different from the previous bills.

I would like to know why we were sent a bill when we were told that we would not receive a bill as long as the receiver was disconnected. I would like to know why said bill has increased, when we are going to use only 1 receiver. I would also like to know why the boxes were not sent that we were going to use to ship the 3 receivers back.

We have not paid the bill for 1/7/09-2/6/09, as we believe Dish Network has made an error.

As I said in my first e-mail to you, I talked to a representative on the telephone. One of the things she told me was that she would send out boxes for me to ship the receivers in! Dish Network would send me the boxes (labels and all), I would put the receivers in the 3 boxes that Dish Network was supposed to send to me, and I would ship the receivers back to Dish Network, in the 3 boxes that Dish Network was supposed to send to me!

I am explaining things to them as simply as I can in hopes that they would understand what I am trying to tell them.

So far, Dish Network has not sent me any boxes to ship the receivers in, as I was told Dish Network would do. I have 3 receivers that have been waiting for boxes for 2 months, and no boxes. 3 receivers, 0 boxes, 2 months.

In your latest e-mail to me, you stated “Please be advised that once your receivers are deactivated you need to return the equipment to Dish Network” How was I supposed to send the receivers back when Dish Network said that they would send shipping boxes to me, and never did? How could I return the equipment when Dish Network didn’t do what they said they would do?

My second concern, which you still haven’t addressed yet, is about service and billing. Again, as I stated in my first e-mail to you: “She told me that Dish Network did not offer sleep mode service. I told her that all the receivers had been disconnected on Nov. 18, 2008, and that I wouldn't be using the remaining receiver until approximately May of 2009. Still trying to be simple and clear.

Again, I was told by Dish Network to unplug the receiver, and we wouldn’t be billed for the time that we did not use the service. I have done exactly as Dish Network told me to do, and yet we have been billed. Why?

I was told by Dish Network that we wouldn’t receive a bill until we plugged the receiver back in and started to use the service again. The receiver has not been plugged in yet, not to the electrical outlet or antenna wire. Nothing. I have it packed away very safely in my closet, waiting to be used in the summer only. There is no way to plug it in from my closet. It is off, not using the service, programming, nothing. Why are we being billed?

Dish Network told me that if I unplugged the receiver, we wouldn’t be billed. I unplugged the receiver, and we are being billed. Why?

Trying to get them to answer the question.

Please address both of these concerns as soon as possible.

OMG! I can’t believe that you still refuse to address the billing for the receiver that we are keeping!

Starting to get a little frustrated.

I know that we will not be billed for the deactivated receivers. That is one reason why we deactivated them and have been trying to send them back. It only makes sense that if the receivers are deactivated and sent back, we won’t be billed for them!

Once again, my second concern is for the billing and service for the receiver that we are keeping! I will repeat what I have said in my last e-mail:

They still didn’t answer.

Dish Network told me that if I unplugged the receiver, we wouldn’t be billed. I unplugged the receiver, and we are being billed. Why?

I will repeat my concern one more time, and I will make it as simple as I can: Dish Network told me that if I unplug the receiver that we are keeping, we would not be billed as long as it was unplugged and we were not using the service. Dish Network told me that I would not receive a bill until I hooked the receiver back up and started to use the service again. We would not be billed for the service that we were not using, and the billing would start again when we started using the service again.

Please address this situation. I believe the billing should stop, as stated by Dish Network, and any moneys sent in should be refunded from the time I disconnected the receivers, which was November 18, 2008.

A $5.00 (or $10.00 in some instances) monthly fee is applied to the account for this service. This method of disconnection is recommended for customers who are planning to reactivate services within 6 months or less which can be done once per year. Again, why wasn’t it? This offer is not available for customers who are currently participating in a promotion that requires a programming purchase agreement. We weren’t! Please be advised that the charges are valid. We regret that it is not possible to make the credit, as you have requested. Why not? They’re the ones that made the mistake, not me. If they would have done what I asked them to do in the first place, I wouldn’t have been charged like I was!

The one that is not deactivated. I will then box up the other three and send them out on Tuesday, weather permitting.

Also, check your records to find out who I talked to in November, and see that she is reprimanded or terminated. Then fire her dumb ass out of a cannon!

There are only three rules there which anybody can understand. You don't even need an attorney to understand them and if you need an attorney, well . . . you know too much so look out for Rule #3!

RULE #1 No matter what you see, hear, or do - you don't know anybody and you don't know nutin!

RULE #2 If you capture something on tape or camera - it doesn't reveal nutin!

RULE #3 If you know what anybody knows in Chicago , well . . . dat's da last ting you'll ever know and you'll wish youse never knew nutin!

Global Warming

Hey Algore, where the hell is the global warming you’re always crying about? Ya pinhead ya!

I got up Thursday morning, and it was 20° below outside. I got up yesterday, and it was 16° below. I got up this morning and it’s a blistering 6° out, and with the way the wind is blowing the wind chill makes it feel like 30° below. Is that what you mean by global warming? You jerk!

How is going outside and freezing your nuts off global warming? Is it global warming when you go outside and the snot freezes up in your nose? Idiot! When was the last time you tried to take a leak when your hands were out in the global warming like this? Your fingers are so cold that when you grab Mr. Wonderful you yell real high like a schoolgirl and Mr. Wonderful practically disappears! You have to go real bad and Mr. Wonderful won’t come out! In the meantime your bladder is getting ready to explode! You freaking idiot!

Friday I was driving my dear old mother to a doctor’s appointment and I said I wondered where all the global warming went that Algore was talking about. She said that it was probably up his ass and the only time you get any heat is when he farts. It’s probably right up there beside that Oscar he got for that fake ass movie of his.

All I know is when I go out in the cold ass weather and see over a foot of snow on the ground, I would like to stick his carbon footprint up his ass. I wouldn't mind slapping old yellow teeth Tipper around either. Couple of mindless twits.

As Ben Franklin said: *

In a number of carefully controlled trials, scientists have demonstrated
that if we drink 1 liter of water each day, at the end of the year we would have absorbed more than 1 kilo of Escherichia coli, (E. coli) - bacteria found in feces. In other words, we are consuming 1 kilo of poop.

However, we do NOT run that risk when drinking wine & beer (or tequila, rum, whiskey or other liquor) because alcohol has to go through a purification process of boiling, filtering and/or fermenting.
Remember:
Water = Poop,
Wine = Health.*

*Therefore, it's better to drink wine and talk stupid, than to drink water and be full of shit.
